Defect Kit.

Defect kit is the set of containers including Rejects (Probable 10% to 20%) and good units.

Defect kits are using to qualification of :

• Manual Visual Inspector.
• Automatic Visual Inspection machine.
• Semi-Automatic Inspection Machine.
• Integrity Testing Machine.
• X-Ray Inspection Machine.

Combination of Defect Kit:

• Particulate matter defects: Containers having a single measured particulate matter (Intrinsic particles eg.Fibre/Glass/Stainless steel generating from process & Extrinsic particles).
• Cosmetic defects: Defects which does not affect the product quality but impact on aesthetic look. The priority of the cosmetic defects are categorized as "low", while assigning priority .
• Good container: These are the containers without any defect which shall be mixed with rejected container to challenge Manual Visual inspector/Automatic inspection machine during qualification/Re-qualification.

Laser Drilled Hole Container

• Usage: The Laser Drilled hole containers (Vials/Ampoules/Cartridges/Bottles/Bag etc.) shall be used to qualification/Re-qualification/Daily challenges of Leak testing equipment.
  i.e.: Vacuum/pressure decay or High voltage leak testing method.


• Advantages of laser drilled leak container:
• Better resemble natural defects in glass (cracks) and polymers (pinholes).
• Tight tolerances can be achieved in most material and thicknesses.
• Hole diameter sets and calibration packages can be customized based on customer requirements.
• A Certificate of Conformance and Quality Data Sheet is included with each Leak Test Hole.
• Leak test holes as small as 1 micron
• Accurate leak hole placement
• Our measurement equipment is calibrated utilizing a NIST traceable standard.
• Complies to USP 1207.
